flow bench calibration

Post by superbike »

Hi everyone I am new here and ready for my first post.

It may be off subject but I have a home made flow bench which has repeatable results and works well. However I would like to adjust it to get it closer to other machines which I can do quite easily as its sensors are sent to a laptop.
I am always working at 10 inch but would like to find out what size sharp edged orifices flow what on other peoples benches. I can then make my own or borrow and set my own bench accordingly.
Any help would be great thank you

Phil hi

my SF120 Superflow flows 148.07 cfm at 10" with orifice test plate diameter 1.875", temperature corrected for 12 deg C.

I hope this is helpful,

With Guy's permission might I post a link that should prove useful?
