Hi Guy,
Pretty minor question here, but could you tell me if all Fiat twin cams share the same sump gasket?
The sump on my Delta HF turbo is leaking so I want to take it off and change the gasket (since I have it up on stands to change the rear hubs anyway). I have a couple of spares, one from a 131/132/beta gasket set and one from a Thema turbo gasket set. Are all sump gaskets the same on Fiat twin cams, or did they change it when they went reverse port, and if they did, would the 1585cc reverse port be the same as the 1995cc?
thank you
Tom

Re: Twin cam sump gaskets
They are not, no.
1) For starters the 1438 and 1608 (earliest TC units) have a different gasket to the later 84mm bore units 131/312/Beta/Strada TC.
2) Then the gaskets changed again when the nose-driven oil pump (and reverse-port head) was introduced, though in the 8v range I think they are all the same except for ..
3) the Lancia Integrale 16v sump gasket setup which has 2 pieces.
Apart from the upper Int 16v one which I'm pretty sure is the same as (2) above none of these gaskets are interchangeable.
