Antifreeze

Post by andrew »

Hello Guy,
I have noticed your recommendation of Fiat Paraflu Antifreeze in a number of posts. Is this a general recommendation for all engines? The reason I ask is I have three cars that I am about to service- two Lancia Montecarlos and a Citroen CX (the CX being freshly rebuilt, zero miles since). I don't doubt it's suitability for the Lancia but how about the Citroen? I could buy a larger amount and get a discount if it is. I know the old CX isn't typical GC machinery so apologies for that but the metals are the same; cast iron with an alloy head (and they did race a few...!). Lastly, I am aware of at least three colours of Paraflu; which do I use? Thank you in advance for your advice.

Andrew.
