Timing belt cover - suggestions

Post by Stratman »

Hi Guy,

I have a query regarding a timing belt cover. I’m running a 16v Thema head on a Beta block and was wondering what you would recommend to use. I’m guessing that the Thema cover would be the best bet, but thought I would ask before I try and track one down.

Many thanks in advance,
Chris

Very fiddly and not overly compatible with the early block. I don't like all those fasteners inside the cambelt region either. I'd go with the 2liter 8v cover and make brackets etc to support it, fill in the gaps with sheet aluminum. I just had a look at this with an engine here, do-able I'd say if your a patient kind of guy..
