Contrary to popular belief - at least the ones I talk to - Twin Cam 8v camhouse gaskets are not the same.

During a build on an Integrale 8V head some time ago we assumed after some "light research" (Fiat/Lancia in Norway), that using camhouse gaskets from a 130 TC would be OK. This resulted in a terrible oil leak from the exhaust cam at the distributor side, and some furious faultfinding followed. You have to look real close to spot the difference between the two gaskets, as the main patterns are all the same.

Integrale gaskets sourced and changed at exhaust side, just to discover a minor dripping from intake side gasket as well .... ****....!

This leads to some questions.
Are there several types of cambox gaskets for the 8VTC?
Are all camboxes interchangable on the different series of heads?

No, they are not, the reversed port head camboxes being markedly different from the earlier models and not interchangeable..
