Hi there to you all,
Any advice much Apprciated please,
I Currently have a Fiat Tipo 1.4 Pre-Injection model and have a 2.0 8v ie Engine to take its place!!
The dilema i have is what carb Set-Up can i use so i dont have to do the dreaded wiring,
Can the injection system just be taken off and the manifold and carb bolted straight on or do i have other issues to contend with...
Please any pointers would be gratefully appreciated..
Darren.

The injection manifold can be unbolted and replaced with any suitable manifold and carb. I assume this is a reverse port engine originally with IAW injection. If so the only factory bolt on option I can think of is a Croma CHT carb. I can only assume that will fit on, ive never tried it.

It would be a shame to loose the injection just because you cannot wire it in. Fitting it is rather easy if you have all the injection stuff from the injected motor. Without the injection system you also dont have an ignition system.

Thanks for your reply SteveNZ, Seems its a better choice to keep with the injection then by the sounds of it!!! I do have all the wiring loom from the other Tipo so i guess i will have to transplant that too....
Have you done this swap before as you said its easy???
To be honest i can't remember the last time i saw a Croma, It was probably when i owned a Croma Turbo about 8 Years ago.....

I can help you on wiring IAW. It is pretty straightforward, anyway.
