Transversal sump oil control

I would like to show you my interpretation of oil control, and will be glad to hear your opinions about.
The engine is transversal Tipo 2.0 16V, and due to the member's oil pan projects showed here, I did mine point of view.
The reason doing this mod is the lower oil pressure during hard right cornering.
The trap doors seems work pretty well, as water test being done.
After few sharp left-right movements, the central section was almost full of water and the both side sections stayed relatively empty.
Latter all this will be covered with plate, as windage tray.

Iliyan, hi

nice photos and a good project - well done. It's always nice to see someone bothering to do sump baffling professional manner.

Nice conversion!

Just ensure that the drain down pipe fills the center cavity, cannot see that on the pics. You will shurely weld nuts to the bolts of the trapdoors, or use nyloc nuts.

Thank you for your comments.

This is the sump finished view. The nuts are welding secured, oil comming above from head, crank bearings and pistons, drains through the gaps(5-6 mm, not well visible on the picture) all around the oil pick up and along pan walls too.
