Hi Guy,
Do you by any chance remember what the tdc lift for 42-82 Alquati cams is inlet and exhaust cam (110deg)?
Thanks,

Vassilis, hi
last time I fitted one of those Alquati cams (A22C87) was as a Vx inlet cam, timed at 104deg it gave 3.11m lift at tdc with 0.016" running clearance and true valve lift 9.92mm. Set closer to 110 deg the lift would be less of course.
That's all I've got on that profile, hope it helps,

Sorry for taking your time again on that Guy,
But if Alquatis 87 42-82 have 10.6mm lift with 40mm valve clearance, shouldn't the valve lift be 10.2mm?
A friend out of town needs to time those without time cards, will it be shafe to time them at 2.60mm TDC lift aiming at 110 lobe centers?
Thanks,

Sure, but but although they were listed as 10.6mm I don't know exactly what their lift was when new - and these were not, one might expect some loss of material over the years. That's what I measured.
Your setting should be fine, yes.
