I'd like to make an adapter plate before I purchase 2.0 16v engine, so I want to know can I use bolt patten from 1.6 8v i.e. Lancia engine or 2.0 8v carb Fiat engine (from Croma I think). If they are the same then I'll use these engine blocks I have as scheme for adapter plate, just need to find out hov thick it should be before I make it.

you should find the mounting bolts are common to 8v and 16v TCs, but check the starter location, because you can find that the 16v balance shafts may foul a non 16v gearbox.
