Hello

I want to rebuilt engine in my Tipo 2.0 8v for daily road use and I want to use the best standart Fiat parts for this rebuilt for the best power.

I want to ask if anybody knows the parameters (lift, timing) of the 130TC and 2.0 8v ie cams? I want use 130TC cams in my engine because I think that these cams are better than tipo cams. Is there some differece betwen 130TC cams and 2.0 8v ie Tipo cams? I couldn't find information about it , so I asked you.

Some specs. of this my future rebuild:

removed balancing shafts
balanced and lightened rods, pistons and crank
lightened flywheel
head work
cams 130TC? (or from another Fiat engine with better cams)
custom chip
custom exhaust
removed EGR system
oil cooler from 16v (water-oil)

I cannot tell you the spec of the Tipo 8v cams, but if they are different from the 130TC I doubt if there is much between them.

I'd keep it simple: run the Tipo cams and rely on the benefits from your other modifications.
