Permissible max angle that DCOEs can be mounted at?

Hullo all/GC, probably a simple one for you clever folk, but I was wondering if anyone could tell me the maximum and from horizontal that DCOEs can be mounted, it's for a Vw golf small block build , that we are getting a custom manifold for.
