R5 Alpine head modification

Hello Guy,

Find attached pictures about a head of an Renault 5 Alpine. Is it possible you give me a a priori recommendation on the work to do on it to improve flow ? Of course you have no flowbench trials to validate your answer (humour)...
My suggestion is based on the reading of your different books, you can edit a picture and post it back to show where you should intervene...
It seems the SSR of the exhaust demands more work than intake.

Thank you very much,

Robert

You are not far off there, treat as I would the Fiat twin-cam, shape is very similar. Same goes for valve angles.

Thanks Guy. May be we will avoid to remove metal in the exhaust guide area.

Yes, you need to be careful on the outboard side of the ex valve guide boss - if you make it too thin it may shear when the guide is pressed in.
