Asse camme Abarth 124 SR 1600

Hi guy I own abarth SC O8 cams or S008?. Not sure, 124 SR 1600 to catalog and will be used in a 1608cc engine in my 125 special.

I have a set of 40 idf original first series, with tubes, I know that Set recommendation. For this cam

My engine now has paramethers the Following:

1. Bore 81mm, stroke 80mm.

2. size valves: in: 43.5 mm (2.0 Lancia valves); ex: 36mm (standard)

3. Carbs: 2 IDF weber 40mm, standar.

4. Cams: Abarth 124sr1600. Ignore data from this cam? HELP ME?

5. the header is hand made 4-2-1.

6. The head WAS Worked from a specialist chilean That included: polishing it, bigger seats and admission ducts, seating angles have the changes file to 35 € šÃ ° (from 45 € šÃ °) and Worked the valves guides.

With an unknown cam - which this is - to me and you - the rules for setting up are simple:

1. Cam Lift(mm) mm Inlet/Exhaust - Measure it with a dial gauge

2. Valve Lift(mm)mm Inlet/Exhaust - Set up the clearances and measure it with a dial gauge

3. Duration Deg Inlet/Exhaust - You really don't need to know this. I rarely use it.

4. Timing & full lift - you can set them up with anything to 100 - 110 degrees.

6. VC - set ex at 0.018" and inlet at 0.016" cold with tolerance of +/- 0.002"

8. Power band RPM - you will find out.

You will have to get yourself organised with protactor and dial gauge etc and read my 'How To' below.
