Very good solution to the coolant pipe that leaks on the flange is to cut it about 5cm away from the flange then bend it a bit to take it away from the block and fit a bit of rubber or silicone hose to connect it back. THis solves the problem with leaks as you do not bend or move the pipe flange anymore. Did that couple of times in my TC engines.
