Intake Manifold Runners

Hello,
I am currently designing my intake manifold for my Punto 1600 16v turbo project (engine code 182.A4).
I will be using a Fiat Coupe 16vt plenum and part of the runners (which are round), and the injector ports/flange from the original manifold. The original manifold has oval ports and they are slightly smaller than the coupe ports.
Could anyone advise of the best way of connect these?
What would be the effect on the airflow as it flows into the smaller pipes of the original flange?
