So many years ago I stumbled across my car and then later when looking for an engine I found a 60,000 mile 131 engine, which I took to Guy pre book.
The end result is a bit messy but seems to work out ok, even when untuned (I didn't have time).

So now I just need to tune the engine with wide band O2 kit, get new dampers all the way around, new rear springs, new front sway bar, fuel filter, fit the LSD, better side impact protection, new brake pads all around, bleed the brakes, get more clearance, stop using 9TO Pirelli road tyres, camber the rear end a little bit, corner weight it, find out how much toe it needs, get rid of the bump steer, train the driver, insulate the exhaust some more in the tunnel, get more tyre clearance at the front...and a host of other jobs not worth mentioning!

It's a Rochdale Olympic. Obviously glass fibre. Very cool and very nice.

Correct, Rochdale Olympic it is. Fibreglass monocoque so no rust...just the usual vagaries of a 1960's small constructor and many amateur builders over the years (I include myself in this list). Not the neatest installation but I never seem to have enough time.Recent drive showed that I have a flat spot in cruise in fifth, so the progression likely too lean so will more from 50F9 to 55/60F9 idle.

I did a lot of engines in the 90s for component (kit) cars, those days pretty well gone now.

indeed the market has changed and Fiat TC's are getting harder to come by and 16V fuel injected engines now the norm.
Still struggling with the progression mix. Have static advance at 10 deg and have followed the most recent Weber manual advice re air bypass settings...will resort to wide band lambda meter I think.
