Fuel Filter - filtration vs. pressure drop?

Hi
As a step in an engine switch in my race-car (Alfetta GTV) I'm also going to replace the fuel lines. Race regs call for pressed or JIC-type couplings so the filter would ideally have JIC-type connectors. The new engine is injected and I'm now trying to find a fuel filter that fits my needs but I have really no idea what my needs are so any advice offered would be appreciated.
There is no shortage in supply of filters that fits but what kind of filtration is needed? 100 microns? 40?
The injectors are Siemens four hole type if that makes a difference.
