Cam decision and specs

Guy,
I am in the process of making a cam decision on my current engine build and am looking for some data on GC cams. I know your cam specs are listed on your tuning book (I should have bought a crate of those when they were available) but are they on this site also? I looked in the parts section but did not see any specs (lift, duration etc) listed. In addition, in the USA most cam manufacturers list the duration at .050" in order for customers to get a better feel for what the cam really is. Do you have this info available for your cams?
Thanks,
Tom

Hi Tom,

I don't give out data so folk can decide what cams to use, I tell them what they need. I do that because no-one is more competent to make the call on my profiles than I am. Tell me the whole engine setup and I'll run some ideas past you.

Guy,
OK I understand. Since cam selection seems to always be a trade off of sorts, low RPM torque vs peak power, lash cap required vs no lash caps required etc I wanted to know what choices were available. Once I finish this current engine that I am working on I will be building another larger displacement engine. Not sure of the specs on that one yet. Ill be in touch when I get to that point though.
Thanks,
Tom
