Hi Guy, hi all.... first time I had in my Fiat 190PS, because it was not OK for me, I made update with 280PS. I drove my first 400m and problem was with my clutch. Very, very much skimmed. It was not good.

WOW great project sir, fantastic work.
May I enquire where you located the lightweight doors and tailgate and if it is possible to get a set for my 130tc?

Please mail me direct if this request or the subsequent answer contravene the rules of the forum.

Great project and nicely presented!

The only remark I want to make is I do not like that header. Without wishing to 'spoil the party' I have done extensive flowtests on types same or exactly like that and the results are alarmingly bad. That is just part of the story however - I have written extensively about turbo header design in my new book (see GC Virtual Workshop) and you should read before proceeding.

Hello Guy,

thanks a lot, could you just let me know if by the term Header you mean Intercooler or is it sth different, if header = intercooler, does it mean then that the outgoing tubes are both at the same side?

thanks,
Rgds,

Some photos may illustrate, the flow results are only a small part of the problem one faces with turbo header design.

These tests on a standard head with 112cfm @10" bare port flow. The losses are due to turbulence caused by:

1. Bend radius
2. Pipe flare at port exit
3. Internal weld quality

I cannot over-emphasise that the design of a turbo header is extremely critical and with a bad design, port/cylinder overheating, detonation (not to mention loss of potential power) and fuel/ignition calibration difficulties are just a few of the possible consequences. The primary wave effects in particular can have an extreme effect on the firing cycles such that no two firing strokes are the same. You can imagine the problems that can cause with 'calibration'.

As I said, tons on this in my new book.
