My two current project cars;
A 1979 mk2 Escort 4 door ghia currently being fitted with a 2.9 V6 Ford Granada engine with uprated running ghia and some tidying to the bodywork.
Also a 1993 mk3 Ford Orion, used by my self and my father for road rallying. Fairly standard engine, plus bigger brakes, polybushes, kevlar sumpguard, 3-point harnesses and bucket seats

Yep mine has now gone to rusty and is sat at home waiting to go to the scrap yard, it went alright though and we had some great fun rallying it.stefan89 wrote:i had a j reg orion 1.8i really suprised at how nippy that thing was, just got to rusty then a shunt sent it to the scrappers
Has now been replaced by a mk6 escort fitted with a 2.0 blacktop mondeo engine running with the same Megasquirt managmen system. Also runs disks all round, kevlar sumpguard and a bolt in roll cage is currently being fitted.
First road rally is the weekend after next, hopefully it'll all hold together!
