1756 Head. Which One?

I am starting to collect parts to build a 1756 for Historic racing. I have acqired a block to rebuild and I am aiming for something around 11.0 compression running on 98 Octane and very robust. I am also looking at acquiring a head to build. What would the forum suggest would be the best to try and aquire? The engine will most run a single carb. There is currently a good 1980 Lancia Beta , Type 4372281, Inlet 42mm, exhaust 36 mm available. Will this be too hard to get the compression up being a 2 litre, or are the valves too big/small.

My questions are basic but having read these forums I have learnt so much. Thank you all !! Most importantly with flow, ie the power is in the head... everything is related, so I am looking to get as much info as I can and do this once and enjoy the process.
Thanks

I believe the Regata 100s head is the best starting point. Small ports to start, so you can make them your shape, size, etc 43.5mm inlet valves stock, shouldn't have any problem with compression.
Thanks,
