Has anyone any views or experience of using a sequential gearbox with a Guy Croft 8V engine?
I have a Lancia Beta twin cam in my Lancia Stratos replica. It desperately needs a LSD. I will spend £1,000 on a Gripper LSD and refurbishing a Lancia Beta gearbox will cost at least £1,500 to renew synchromesh hubs and bearing.
A Quaife or an Elite sequential gearbox looks like good fun.
The option of fitting a close ratio gear set in the Lancia gearbox appears to be about as expensive as a sequential gearbox....

Most awfully sorry Paul, I have no prior exp of this in transverse..
I think I can say with some certainty that consultation with Quaife would work well, I have always found them helpful and friendly and uber-professional. And - better still - they do know actually who I am!!
Which is by way of saying that if you mention my name you are unlikely to be met with, "Guy WHO??.."
Very sincerely,
G
