Hi,
I'm hoping I'm not asking a question that has been answered elsewhere, I've done some searches on the forum, with no luck on the information. Im in the process of tidying up of a low mileage 2L Fiat twin cam , I wont go into the details of the engine here. What I cannot find though is what thread is used on TC bolts. I'm lucky enough to have the GC Modifying and Tuning Book - it mentions metric bolts but not threads? At the moment I'm trying to source bell housing bolts to put the engine on my engine stand. I bought some standard M12 bolts but the thread is much coarser than the bolt Ive removed from my current 1600TC and gearbox.
So can someone enlighten me to the thread type so I can order the right bolts for my build as I will need various sizes or a supplier I can call and they will have the right sizes/type? Or am I missing a trick and should just call GC?
Regards
Brad
