Nothelle's Audi coupe Gt.

Post by 4v6 »

Posted with the kind permission of Guy are some links to videos of Nothelle's Kamei Audi coupe GT which is currently competing at various venues in Europe.

Subject vehicle is Audi's coupe GT modified for racing by Nothelle in the early 1980's, cars that appeal to me no end!
5 cylinders, 2.0 litres naturally aspirated, 240bhp and a maximum of 8500 rpms if I remember correctly.
Currently running at Spa Francorchamps and Zolder circuits.

Hope you enjoy these as much as I do.

Second set are from Spa and much more raucous sounding, some good battles also with some much faster cars.

Fantastic. I do think the 5 cylinder cars are one of the best sounding cars ever, mind you I am a little biased having owned a 20v turbo Fiat and now an Audi RS6 - sadly not an Ur Quattro.

I think you're right Chris, nothing sounds better than that to me, but like you I'm completely biased having owned one for 13 years and still having a love affair with them.
Such an addictive sound and up there with the greats for goosebump appeal I'd say.
