Cam angle sensor for 8V

Does anybody have a discrete cam angle sensor design for the 8V lampredi? More specifically, a solution that doesn't attach to the rear end of a camshaft. I have a Fiat 124 Coupe, so there is no room to utilize an Integrale-type CAS.
