Re: Weber DCNF 40 Carb

Csaba, I've gotten the idle jet sizing worked out by using Pat Braden’s method. I currently have 45 jets in the carb. I tried 40's in it and that made it way too lean. I'm going to try a 45 accelerator pump jet next to see if I can prolong the pump shot. I looked into the carb as I accelerated it by...

Re: Fiat TC engines - protect and survive!

I find Guy's thoughts to be very true in the middle of the U.S.. Fiat TC's are hard to come by. I have bits and parts from a 2l not enough to put together a complete engine. I was under the misunderstanding that TC's in Europe were like Chevy motors are in the U.S.. Since I have an investment in not...

Re: Weber DCNF 40 Carb

Csaba,
Thanks for checking in. I have e-mailed Jim and mounted the carb. I'm currently trying to work out a stumble off idle. Any thoughts?

Re: Weber DCNF 40 Carb

Thanks for checking in Guy, I've heard of an adapter that turns the carb 90 deg. That is why I came here to get good advice.

Weber DCNF 40 Carb

Hi, Does anyone have specs. or pics. of an adapter to match a DCNF to a standard Fiat TC manifold? I've heard that this is an improvement over the 34DMSA carb I'm using now. The engine is a slightly modified 1756. The current intake manifold does not have a provision for heated water from the engine...

Re: Camshaft identification

Guy, I am installing these cams in the 1974 124 Spider I,m preping for SCCA competition. I am using the stock 1756 motor with a header and a 34dmsa carb. My question is: After installing the cams per your instruction on 110 deg. centers, the pointer is off from fasctory spec. To achieve 105 deg on t...
